I just downloaded version 5.21. I have been using an older version (the dll says file version 4.42.1.1) until now. For VB6 I need a .tlb file, which was included in my download for the older version. Will this .tlb file work with the new version? If not, how do I create one?

I started using the new ActiveX dll without making any change to the .tlb -- seems to work fine.
I assumed there were no changes to the public functions and attributes of the components? Is that correct? Cheers, - Ido |

Frank, you don't neew the *.tlb file. The typelibrary in includen in DLL file. Please do not use TLB and DLL because you may get some incompatibility problems. Please register your DLL as if you would register the typelibrary and ignore that tlb file.

More on this,
there is no change in the standard TLB library other than version numbers. But please pay attention that there is a new ComServer. This one may change till we get really a release version !!!
