I don't know if this is a feature request or its possible to do this with the current version.

In Acrobat, users can create custom stamps and they are saved to individual pages in PDF's. When the user creates and saves a new stamp and saves it to a category of their own choosing, a PDF is created. Subsequent custom stamps in the same category are just added as another page to the same PDF.

A great feature would be the ability to open these stamp files and select the appropriate stamp and place it on a PDF in the Viewer. I see functions for placing stamps from a file, but, I assume that file is a single graphic file. The ability to open the Acrobat stamp files and display them in a "dropdown" for selection would be fantastic.

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

Do you know where these stamps are stored on your computer? If you can send through some custom stamps that would be useful. We could take a look and maybe suggest a solution.

The standard Acrobat stamps are located here in Acrobat DC:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\plug_ins\Annotations\Stamps\ENU

Stamps are generally stored in PDF files and Acrobat retrieves them dynamically and then just copies the object from the source PDF into the destination PDF when the stamp is applied. I presume the custom stamps will work in a similar way.

Cheers,
- Rowan.

Thanks Rowan.

I don't see a provision for uploading file(s) directly in the forum, so I'll try this for a few sample stamp files.

Thanks again.

John
