QuickPDF v6.03 has been updated on 17 Jul 08. (Notes provided by Ingo) The library v6.03 has been finalized and is available in the source code area available [ http://www.quickpdf.org/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=16 - here ]. It's no beta now. After last modifications from Loic and a last test this should it be for now. Soon, I'll post in the general section to all source license members to compile new versions for the users of a compiled license. |

Hi,
The following is for anyone using CodeGear RAD 2007 delphi...
Having just downloaded the up to date version (6.03) and attempted to compile it with Delphi 2007 it produces the following error :
[DCC Error] DirectDraw.pas(382): E2154 Type 'IDirectDrawSurface' needs finalization - not allowed in variant record
In DirectDraw.pas the following line(s) cause the error:
lpDDSZBufferDest : PDirectDrawSurface; // Surface to use as Z buffer for dest
Apparently one way to fix this is to change the PDirectDrawSurface to Pointer. I haven't looked deaply into this problem to understand it but it does now compile.

Still a few hours and then i'm on holidays...
If it's possible for you to compile ther different versions it would be great ... great for all members with a compiled license ;-)
You can send (with D2007) compiled packages to
Michel exp[at]exp-systems[dot]com
Michel will upload the packages here in the library-section.
If here's any other with a different delphi version (d4, d5, d6, d2006, ...) ... he can do the same. Thanks in advance.

I only use the activex dll.
The iSed.tld is not updated to 6.03, i'll send it to Michel.
The QuickPDF2 Interface seem not working (I ca'n't pass the unlock). Is it possible to include the three new methods introduce by mariam in the Main Interface and get rid of the QuickPdf2 ? I've try to do it, but i am not good enough
 . (It's my second day with delphi) |
