Hi Calvin,
why not try by your own (i don't know what's the meaning of "core 2").
ASP.net is supported:
http://www.debenu.com/kb/asp-net-web-applications-debenu-pdf-library/
http://www.debenu.com/docs/pdf_library_reference/Search.php
...and then insert "asp".

I tried to make API with ASP.NET Core 2.0 and using the given import C# class, but it failed at the loadlibrary function, so I guess this won't work for Core 2.0. I'm trying to see if there's another way to do this that actually work.

why you don't want to enter the official support pages for your question?
I don't know what are the differences between asp.net and asp.net core 2...
Do you use the correct dll-version for your needs (there are different ones in your install path)?
Perhaps it could be important to know the error you've got...
If you're using the advanced search option here you'll see that asp.net and c# can work with QuickPDF.
