Hello,
at first sorry for my bad english. At the moment i'm testing PDF Viewer SDK (Version 12.12, 32Bit) on my computer (Windows 7 x64) and have an issue when displaying (a few) specific PDF files. The fonts of these PDFs are difficult to read because they are blurred. When I use Adobe Acrobat Reader the fonts are OK. Only the PDF Viewer SDK have this Problem. Here you can download one PDF file:  http://www.filedropper.com/frommabu" rel="nofollow - http://www.filedropper.com/frommabu . You can use the sample programm "CompiledMFCSample.exe" to reproduce it. I hope you can help me.

Best regards
Timothee

Hi Tim,

First i should say that library and viewer sdk have the same/similar sources and my test is made with the library.
The quality of the document is really bad but preview (render page to stream) works and if you're zooming enough you are able to read the text ;-)
Textextraction works nearly complete.
There are view things that could raise problems like the page dimensions - it's nearly DIN A4 ... but not exact (exact would be 595 x 842 but your pages are 594 x 841).
There's an additional comp.type used: JPXDecode ... perhaps the viewer has problems with it?
The referenced fonts are all windows standard fonts - so i would expect no problems there.
The pdf-version is set to 1.6 ...
I think the really problem is the bad quality. You shouldn't deliver this quality. A 100-mb-installation of a pdf-reader will correct few display-probs at runtime - the few mb from the viewer sdk won't get it.
Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo
