Hi!

I referred to "SetViewerPreferences" function and found that we can Hide/Set Visible Toolbar, Bookmarks, Thumbnails etc. panels. But I didn't find anything that will set "Attachments" panel visible. Am I missing something? Is there any way that I can use QP to set "Attachments" panel visible when Document is opened in Adobe Reader?

Waiting for your valuable reply...

Regards,

Ruturaaj.

Looks like PDF doesn't support such a specific feature.
According to PDF Reference, version 1.7 (Section 8.1 "Viewer Preferences").

Hi Dimitry,

I went through a huge stack of Document Properties related QP functions and found the answer. The method is: SetPageMode. Pass "5" for "NewPageMode", which is nothing but "Attachments panel visible". I tested it and it's working well with Adobe Reader version 8 & 9. I don't have any other versions installed so can't say anything else.

I'm really sorry folks for posting a query which is already answered in the QP Manual. Actually QP has so many functions and properties that sometimes I get totally lost while finding desired answers in manual.

Looks like the time is not far when we will be talking about quality test/exam, something like:  "QP Certified PDF Programmer"! :)

Regards,

Ruturaaj.
