I developed a Visual Basic 2005 app that uses QuickPDF and it works great on the development machine (Windows XP).  However, when deployed and run on a Windows 7 computer, I am getting an error that the application "cannot create ActiveX component".  I'm supposed to demo this software on the Windows 7 computer (a Tablet PC) on Tuesday, so any help would be greatly appreciated.  - Mark

Hi Mark!

It seems to me that the security settings on the system are too strong.
Policies, firewall, antivirus-/trojan-tools, ...

Cheers, Ingo

I got it figured out.  The issue was using the wrong (64-bit) version of regsvr32.exe (instead of the 32-bit).  For some bizarre reason, the version of Windows 7 on my Tablet PC did not have a C:\Windows\SysWow64 folder and I had to copy the 32-bit version over from another Windows 7 machine.  VB 2005 deployment system calls the regsvr32 in the \Windows\System32 folder (the 64-bit version) by default.  There was another earlier post that talked about this issue.  Thanks for the help ...
