Is there a way to set QuickPDF using VB6 so that no text can be copied from the resulting PDF file?

The following options should be disabled from the resulting PDF:

1 - The Select Tool menu option

2 - The Edit Copy option

3 - The Copy File to Clipboard

Thanking all of you in advance!

Hi Mick!

I think you know that there isn't an absolutely protection for pdf-files but ...
With QuickPDF you can change the style of your pdf-document if it's on the screen.
You can make settings to hide the menu and much more. If you want it you can do
settings that the pdf on the screen has only the four functions next, before, first and last.
Additionally you can set security options like "copying not allowed".
At least you should protect these settings with a main password or (more safe but
uncomfortable) a user password.

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo

BTW: I'll move this post later to the section "need help..." ;-)

Hi Mick!

For the viewer-preferences you should look in the samples-section now:
http://www.quickpdf.org/forum/how-to-set-the-pdf-viewer-preferences_topic1415.html
The security stuff you can do by yourself have a look in the reference.
See my post "QuickPDF... The first steps" in the general section.

Cheers, Ingo
