mouse over after replacing URL links in PDF files

I followed the steps in "Programmatically find and replace URL links in PDF files" example from https://www.debenu.com/kb/programmatically-find-and-replace-url-links-in-pdf-files/ to turn absolute URLs to relative URLs for an existing PDF and noticed the updated PDF doesn't show the hyperlink in the status bar during mouse over. I can click any of the hyperlinks and it correctly jumps to the other pdfs they are pointing to.  I'm using VS 2015 with Quick PDF v18.11 DLL of DebenuPDFLibraryDLL1811 for coding and Acrobat Standard DC to view the updated PDF.
