Besides the download binaries, you'll need freetype6.dll to get it running.

I've started playing with the underlying PoDoFo C++ library - got the current svn branch to compile successfully using MSYS/MinGW and CMake.  It's still very much Alpha quality, and fairly low-level, but has a lot of potential.  It's LGPL licensed.

	Yes, it looks like that open source project has died. I found a link on Softpedia to download PoDoFoBrowser 0.5. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-tools/PDF/PoDoFoBrowser.shtml We've recently built something similar (which hasn't been publicly released). It doesn't let you edit objects, but we'll probably add that functionality at some stage. If there's enough interest in something that lets you browse through Document Tree of a PDF, then we could possibly make it publicly available for download.

	It hasn't died. They are still in active development. Even though they haven't done an official release for a while, the source is constantly updated. Here is an active link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/podofo/ Wheeley
