Hello,
Can someone please enlighten me why my generated PDF file size is different from my local PC versus server? Basically, we have developed a program to add-in barcodes on the raw pdf document which is roughly around 1000-1500 pages. The raw pdf file is about 16MB and after running the program on my pc, the output file is around 80MB. But whenever I run the program on our server, the output file becomes 350MB. I am thinking maybe (?) it has to do with system resources which is being embedded on to the document itself (fonts, etc). But on this case, we are only using 2 fonts for barcoding. i'll expect it depends on how to create and implement the Barcode (as an Image?) into the pdf. The library uses gdi+ ... it's on your machine but is it on the server, too? Cheers and welcome here, Ingo |
