Not sure exactly what the difference is, which is faster, etc.
Anyways, I already have a large project started, so I don't know if that makes a difference, but I'd like to try incorporating QuickPDF into my project to convert PDF's into images that go into pictureboxes. Just asking for advice in regards to whether I should be researching the ActiveX or .DLL method. Thanks in advance! |

One big difference is the ActiveX must be registered on every computer you deploy your program to whereas the DLL doesn't.

That sounds like it could be sort of annoying for the end user. Unless the ActiveX version has some pretty significant redeeming quality, it would seem as though the DLL version is the way to go? |
