Hi All
Nice to see this still hobbling along. Is there anyway to detect if the pdf document has been opened with Acrobat Reader DC? Cheers André |

For this question you have to look from the document out to the pdf-tool...
For my opinion this can only be done by inserted js-code which acts while the event onLoad is active. With QuickPDF you can insert js-code into a pdf. On page 40 of the developer guide the chapter regarding java script inside pdf begins... |

Hi Ingo
I have used js code extensively. This is why I need to make sure that the document has been loaded with the correct reader. Most readers do not handle most js code correctly. So do you have js code that can detect the reader being used? That would solve the problem. Cheers André |

Hi Andre :)
This often won't work cause in the reader settings you can deactivate javascript from being processed. |
