Hello,

We have implemented PDF Signing using functions - NewSignProcessFromFile() and EndSignProcessToFile() and we get the result of the signing with GetSignProcessResult().

The problem we ran into is this:

A user is trying to sing a PDF File.

The certificate he chooses ha s a password so Windows shows a dialog to enter the password.

If the user at this time chooses to not enter the password, he click on [X] or Cancel - The password dialog shows again. The user cancels again.

After the second cancel the function EndSignProcessToFile() returns but the output file has a new signature (invalid signature) and the function GetSignProcessResult() returns 1 (succesfull signing). Here is the problem.

Is there a bug in the GetSignProcessResult()?

And is there a way to find out if the user entered his password or not?
