    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.quickpdf.org/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=2670">tbean</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3235<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 Dec 15 at 5:38PM<br /><br />We get a lot of interactive PDFs with fillable fields and need to flatten them so they cannot be modified.<div></div>Several of the PDFs we have received recently have the data removed from them instead of having the data's visual appearance drawn onto the page.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>I have tried using both the UpdateAndFlattenFormField function&nbsp;and calling UpdateAppearanceStream followed by a call to FlattenFormField.&nbsp; Both methods return 1 indicating the field was flattened successfully but when the resulting PDF is viewed or printed, the flattened data is shown in the lower left corner in a much smaller font.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I have uploaded the Original PDF and the Flattened PDF to: <a href="http://www.filedropper.com/flatten" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.filedropper.com/flatten</a></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Would you please take a look at them and tell me what I can do to get the Original PDF flattened properly?</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Tom</div>]]>
