I have a process which merges 1000 pdfs into a single file.

Most of the time there are no problems, but occasionally it fails. It doesn't throw an excpetion or crash, it just sits there as if it is working, but not actually getting anything done.

Any ideas? Is it possible to put a time out on the process?
